On a windblown dusty day, in the heart of the Prairies, one of the nations premier Roots Rockabilly bands was born. The Rowdymen feature Jason Allen on vocals and guitar, Robert Zaporzan on Stand Up bass and vocals, and Ken Mcmahon on drums. Since their formation in 1997, the band has garnered much praise and respect along their travels. The Rowdymen's diverse repertoire ranges from High-Octane Edgy Rockabilly to Hard Drivin' Prairie Twang and all points in between. Over The Rowdymen's career they have shared the marquee an eclectic mix of luminaries. Neko Case, Fred Eaglesmith, blues legend T-Model Ford, and Sleepy La Beef, who they toured Canada with.
